How should you connect electronics to power strips/surge protectors?
Regarding those 6-outlet power strip/surge protectors, do you need to start from one end and plug electronics in without skipping any outlets?
For instance, if I need to plug in two DVD recorders and a TV into a power strip, do I need to plug them all into three adjacent, neighboring outlets on the 6-outlet strip, or can I spread them out?
Will plugging one device on one end of the strip and another on the other end cause the unused outlets in the middle to generate electricity as well, thereby wasting energy?
