I am getting a new car (2004 Chevy Impala Indy SS) and am putting a new cd player in it. I have seen some online that have an HD radio tuner built in. BUT the weird thing is that they are not overly expensive. I found a JVC for 160 bucks. I just want to know if it is worth it to get a cd player with HD radio or should I just get a better quality cd player without the HD Radio?

I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, with the stock radio system and the reception has always been horrible. So I think it's time to upgrade, I don't want a satellite radio. I just want a better radio that will get better reception, because I just want to listen to my favorite radio stations, not a satellite XM or sirius station. So does a HD radio get really good reception of regular stations? Also it may be helpful to know I live in the Denver area.
